was ready for a new sound and she and Jim hit the jackpot with this
album, spawning a #1 single, the legendary world-wide power ballad
TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEART, Having this album go #1 as well, a
Grammy nomination (USA), and a whole new host of fans. Bonnie was
inducted in the Guiness Book Of World Records for being the first British
female to have a #1 album debut, courtesy of her work with Jim Steinman.
Bonnie had another album with Jim, Secret Dreams and Forbidden Fire,
which included the hit single from Footloose, Holding Out For a Hero.
Even though this album didn't fare well in the USA, it did well in other
countries. As of the present, Bonnie and Jim are working together again
on a forthcoming album in 2009. Look out, I smell another worldwide hit!
